Italian shipyard Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has announced the sale of the third unit in its Oceano 52 line. The 52-metre new build was sold in collaboration with Quentin Bourdeau of Pelagia Yachting and has a slated delivery date of 2028.
The yacht was sold to a European owner and repeat Mangusta client, who, according to the shipyard, intends to cruise the Mediterranean Sea following delivery.
The news comes just months after brokerage firm Camper & Nicholsons revealed that the second unit from the flagship series had been sold. The first unit, which began construction on speculation in early 2025, was sold in October.

Designed as a flexible platform, each unit can be significantly customised and are therefore considered "true one-off models".
On this unit, the owner opted for a different, customised layout on each deck. As such, the main deck will host two guest cabins nestled into the bow, while the master suite will have a custom configuration with 180-degree panoramic views and a private terrace complete with a "Mangusta Signature" infinity pool.
The remaining accommodation will be situated on the lower deck, including a full-beam VIP designed to ensure the same comfort as the cabins on the main deck.
"The sale of three Mangusta Oceano 52 units in rapid succession attests to the incredible appeal of an innovative project capable of going beyond the traditional boundaries of the segment below 500GT," said Mangusta sales manager Ivan Adzic. "This is a yacht that offers owners lifestyle, volumes and contents normally found on much larger vessels. This unit was purchased by European owners who were already Mangusta clients, and this makes us particularly proud. Their first experience with a smaller yacht from our range persuaded them to remain part of the Mangusta family."
Broker Quentin Bourdeau added: "The Mangusta Oceano 52 captivated the owner with the soundness and overall consistency of the project behind it, where design, engineering and long-range cruising co-exist in perfect harmony. This sale was the result of excellent cooperation with the Overmarine team, whose professionalism ensured a smooth and particularly pleasant process."
BOATPro amounts the shipyard to currently have 26 yachts on order or under construction, including the fourth unit from the 49.9-metre Mangusta 165 REV, which hit the water last week.
