The fifth hull in Sanlorenzo’s 52Steel series has hit the water for the first time from its La Spezia based yard.
The yard also announced that three more units of the 52-metre model are currently under construction.
Exterior design comes courtesy of Officina Italiana Design while Tiziana Vercellesi has penned the interiors.
According to Vercellesi, the sub-500GT interior features a “classic style” with “warm colours and a discreet elegance”, with materials such as “Tanganyika wood, leathers and marble”.
She added: “In the main salon, we have created a made to measure floor with inlaid marbles of different colours and a classic Italian design. The furnishings will be enhanced by decorative elements and pieces of art made especially for this boat."
Elsewhere, the yacht features a swimming pool with a transparent bottom aft of the main deck and ample customisation. The owner’s suite, which is traditionally located at the bow of the main deck, has been moved to the stern of the upper deck, allowing the owner the exclusive use of the cockpit area.
Instead, two large VIP cabins have been located forward of the main deck, with large windows for far-reaching ocean views.
