Filippetti reveals first details of E32 yacht project

Italian yard Filippetti Yacht has released the first details of a new explorer yacht project called the Filippetti E32.

Developed in collaboration with Venetian Yacht Design, this 32 metre displacement yacht is still in the concept stage, but has attracted significant client interest.

The steel hull and aluminium superstructure would be built to comply with RINA classification C, suitable for unrestricted navigation, hence its explorer yacht designation.

Accommodation is for up to ten guests split across five cabins, including a main-deck owner's cabin that stretches across the entire 7.8 metre beam and boasts his and hers en-suites, an owner’s office and a walk-in wardrobe. Moving below decks and the E32 would boast four further guest cabins, arranged as two doubles and two twins. The crew quarters is situated in the bow, allowing for a staff of up to six people, with a captain’s cabin on the bridge deck taking the total accommodation to seven crewmembers.

Al fresco relaxation options include the beach club and the superyacht sundeck with its circular spa pool, bar area and a large sunbathing space back aft. Meanwhile, the sheltered cockpit provides a long stretch of built-in bench seating, two small tables and four armchairs, ideal for a light meal or cocktails. A more formal dining option can be found in the main-deck saloon where all ten guests can enjoy a meal around a rectangular table.

Tender storage is provided via a side-loading garage aft of the engine room, with enough space for a Jet Ski as well as the main tender. A foredeck davit crane allows a smaller crew tender to be carried too.

Power would come from a pair of 671hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines for a top speed of 14 knots. When trimmed back to 9.5 knots, the Filippetti E32 would boast a transatlantic range of 5,000 nautical miles.
