Italian shipyard Filippetti Yachts has unveiled two new yacht models in collaboration with design studio Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design: the 30.5-metre S100 and the 27.6-metre F90.
The larger of the two new models, the 30.5-metre S100, now becomes the largest offering in the yard's Sport series, surpassing the smaller S90 model by almost 3 metres.
According to the yard, the S100 is a "truly surprising model in every way." Sporty in look and nature, the motor yacht can reach an impressive maximum speed of 40 knots thanks to a streamlined planing hull, triple 2,000hp MAN engines and waterjet propulsion drives.
Other key specs include a 6.8-metre beam and a draft of 1.5 metres, with the yacht due to meet RINA class standards when built. The slender, low profile of the SL100, adorned with tapered glazing and eye-catching bow cutouts, bears similar resemblance to the F100 model from the yard, also designed by de Simoni.
What stands out the most about the new model, however, can be found within her onboard layout. Design-wise, the S100 is the only yacht in its category with a full-beam owner's cabin on the main deck, without a compromise on social living space.
The lower deck is host to the remaining four en suite guest cabins (bringing the total accommodation capacity to ten), while on the main deck above, a bright and spacious main saloon opens to a large aft deck with a 3-metre beach club. On the flybridge, there is a large sunpad and fully-equipped bar.
The other new addition to the Filippetti family is the F90: a mid-size offering between the smaller 24.6-metre F80 and larger 30.5-metre F100. The F90 instead measures 27.6 metres, and "redefines the concept of the modern yacht" according to the yard, characterised by "fluid" living spaces.
Close to the stern, for example, the wide aft deck is equipped with a welcoming lounge space and bar, while steps descend to a spacious beach club with outward-facing seating. Protected access on either side leads to the foredeck, where there is a further space to enjoy the passing vistas.
Accommodation on board is for eight across a four-cabin layout, with key specs including a beam of 6.4 metres and a 1.8-metre draft. Power is flexible; twin 1550hp MAN engines can offer maximum speeds of 28 knots, or for owners seeking a faster ride, twin 1800hp MAN engines provide a 30-knot maximum speed.
According to BOATPro, Filippetti Yachts currently has one F100 on-spec hull under construction, with delivery expected in July 2026. The latest yacht launched from the shipyard was the 30.4-metre Mai Dire Mai, also from the same series.
