The finalists of The ShowBoats Design Awards have been announced, and they include the 39m Apostrophe, CRN Shipyard’s new flagship yacht, 80m Chopi Chopi, and Baltic Yachts' 32m sloop Inukshuk, among many others.
The ShowBoats Design Awards are set to take place on 24 February 2014, honouring the innovators and craftsmen responsible for the most exceptional new superyacht designs on the water. Boat International Media received an astounding quality of nominations for the 2014 event and are delighted to announce a deserved list of finalists for these prestigious awards.

The Finalists must now wait in eager anticpation for the announcement of the winning designs at a glittering gala evening hosted at Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens on the first evening of the Superyacht Design Symposium.
Opened in 1995 to celebrate the company’s centenary, Swarovski Crystal Worlds has welcomed more than 11 million visitors from around the world for a unique crystal experience. Guests attending the gala evening will enjoy a welcome cocktail reception in front of the iconic Giant who guards the passageway to the Swarovski kingdom - a visual symbol of the company’s emphasis on creativity and innovation.
Following a leisurely tour of the Crystal Worlds, guests will proceed into the Cube for the anticipated prize-giving ceremony, followed by dinner and live entertainment and the opportunity to peruse the Crystal Stage, one of the world's largest Swarovski shops.
The Awards will undoubtedly be a social highlight of the Superyacht Design Symposium programme, a two day event hosted at the innovative Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt which welcomes superyacht owners, industry professionals and influential figures from a broad spectrum of creative industries.
