First Azimut 80 motor yacht launched

The first hull of the new Azimut 80 motor yacht series was launched at the end of May in Fano, Italy.

This new model, designed by Stefano Righini, has a length of 25.2m. The interior is by Achille Salvagni Architetti and accommodates eight guests in four cabins plus two crew members. Built in composite to CE class, the Azimut 80 is powered by twin 1,140kW MAN engines giving a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.

The first Azimut 80 will make her official debut at the end of June, on the occasion of the Azimut Benetti Yachting Gala, and a second hull is already scheduled for a delivery this year.
