Canados has revealed details of its 36.5m flagship motor yacht – in build for a client – which is based on a clever design that maximises outdoor space.
The yacht features a variety of exterior spaces and allows natural light indoors, with long windows in the lower deck cabins and terraces that fold down hydraulically on the main deck.
At the stern, a teak-decked beach club offers showers and heads, while for those who want to make a splash two Seabobs and a jet ski are stored under the stern platform, and the garage houses a 4.2m tender.
The main deck offers two more outdoor spaces: forward there is a sunbathing area and a sofa that can be shaded by a removable Bimini, and aft there is more comfortable seating.
The wide flybridge features a dining area and a sunbathing area aft, all of which is protected by an openable carbon hard-top.
The contemporary, Francesco Paszkowski-designed interior features a living area, dining space, galley and owners’ section on the main deck, plus three large cabins and the crew quarters on the lower deck.
The yacht has a beam of 7.25m and its two MTU 2,400hp engines will offer an estimated top speed of 29 knots, with a cruising speed of 25 knots. It is scheduled for delivery in spring 2012.
