First Maiora M|30 yacht model launched ahead of Cannes debut

13 August 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Maiora, a brand of NEXT Yacht Group, has announced the launch of the first unit from its M|30 line. The 30.4-metre new build hit the water at the yard's facilities in Viareggio, Italy, in the presence of her owner and his family, and is scheduled to make her official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival next month.

The launch marks the official inauguration of the Italian builder's M line, which was first unveiled in September last year ahead of a formal preview at the 2025 Cannes event. The model has been designed to follow the success of the Maiora 30, building upon its predecessor’s strengths with an updated exterior, enhanced guest spaces and a greater connection between interior and exterior decks.

The M|30 represents the third project from Maiora’s ongoing collaboration with Quartostile (for the exterior design) and Acube (for the interior design alongside Maiora Style Centre) – a trio responsible for the M|36 and the refit of the 36 Exuma.

The yacht is characterised by a "coupé-like" profile, a full-beam bow and large glazed surfaces across her profile, the latter of which, according to the yard, play into the "lateral light signature" that defines the M line. Model highlights include walkaround passageways, an enlarged beach area and a cockpit designed as an expansive waterfront lounge.

Power is from twin 2,000hp MAN V12-2000 engines delivering a top speed of 21 knots

A five-cabin layout, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, accommodates up to 12 guests on board, while crew quarters comprise three cabins for up to five crew. The yacht spans three decks with a beam of 7.5 metres.

According to the shipyard, the model has already achieved commercial success, with four new units sold ahead of the first's public debut.

BOATPro notes that Maiora has seven yachts currently under development, including the second unit from its 36 Exuma series, which hit the water last month.
