Turkish shipyard Sirena Yachts has shared the interior images of the first unit from its Sirena 118 superyacht series, Ikigai, as she makes her world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, which is currently underway on the Côte d'Azur.
The 36-metre new build hit the water in July, undergoing sea trials and final commissioning before her delivery at the start of the month. The model – penned by Sirena’s in-house design team with naval architecture by Germán Frers – was first unveiled at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show as the largest in the shipyard’s composite line, built entirely in GRP with a sub-300GT volume and a flexible tri-deck layout.
Dutch designer Cor D. Rover is the brain behind Ikiagi's interiors, which evolved from a proposed neutral palette into a bright and personal design from the yacht's "deeply involved" owner. The dramatic scheme on board, described as "bewitching" by the shipyard, is said to pay homage to the explorers of the past, while remaining like a "hugely comfortable home".
“The design is built around exploration, the people who went first, went deeper, went higher, and the world they moved through to get there,” explained Rover. “Its shapes, colours and materials are drawn from the vessels and instruments of that world: riveted hulls, aircraft fuselage, vintage navy portholes, ship's compasses - reworked here into something that still feels warm and lived-in rather than literal."
According to the yard, in contrast to the muted schemes seen aboard modern new builds, Ikiagi's interiors take a deliberately bolder approach to colour and material, with tones including moss green, burgundy and mustard. Complementary furniture has been sourced globally, with subtle finishes that mimic nature.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and seven crew on board, with the guest accommodation comprising a VIP suite and four guest cabins on the lower deck. The shipyard has dedicated significant attention to the owner's area, which is located forward on the main deck and extends across two decks in a "loft" option. A spiral staircase decorated with a two-storey vintage mirror connects to a private lounge on the lower deck, complete with a fold-down balcony for direct water access.
There are plenty of social areas across the yacht's design, all of which have been hugely personalised by her owner. The upper deck lounge features a large dining table for family meals, while the sundeck is fitted with an al fresco bar and lounge seating under her carbon fibre hard-top.
A fast displacement hull provides a top speed of 16 knots, propelled by twin MAN 1,550hp engines. With a more powerful 1,990hp package, she can deliver a top speed of 18 knots. Key specs include a generous volume of 279GT and a beam of 7.8 metres.

The Turkish yard is also working towards the delivery of its flagship 42-metre superyacht – created in collaboration with Luca Vallebona and Hot Lab – which will make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later this month.
