Turkish shipyard Sirena Superyachts has revealed new images of its 42-metre flagship superyacht, Sirena 42M, following her debut at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show.

The yacht is the first of the yard's new superyacht line, which will initially comprise three models, including a 35-metre and a 50-metre model.

Described as the builder's "largest and most ambitious project to date", the yacht was conceived to be a "waterborne dream home". Luca Vallebona was selected to create the exterior and layout, while Italian studio Hot Lab is the team behind the yacht's interior spaces. Naval architecture has been developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The flagship has been designed for extended periods at sea, with a focus on versatility and comfort across approximately 433GT of interior volume.

Glass plays a major role in the design of her main saloon, as seen in the inclusion of floor-to-ceiling windows and full opening aft doors. Solid wood walls are crafted to resemble flowing fabric, contrasting with panels of Italian limestone which add a touch of texture. Overhead, the ceiling features swirling patterns of light, created by backlighting wooden panels perforated with precision placed holes.

The same swirling motif carries through to the carpets, inlaid into walnut parquet flooring and designed to evoke maps of the seabed. Curved edges are a feature throughout the interior, echoed by rounded bouclé fabric sofas scattered with cushions that provide pops of colour.

A ripple effect is a focal point of the main lobby space, featuring sculpted three-dimensional marble flooring and droplet pendant light fitted in the ceiling.

Chiara Pastore, senior furniture, fixtures and equipment designer at Hot Lab, explained how lighting was a key focus: "One of the main goals was integration, with technical elements becoming part of the architecture. Many of the lighting features are hidden behind perforated ceiling panels, which allows light to softly filter into the space creating a more natural atmosphere.”

Accommodation is for up to 11 guests and encompasses four en suite guest cabins on the lower deck, built around a sculpted lobby and include two VIP doubles and two convertible twin beds. Each room features ample hanging and storage space, and large hull windows bathe the rooms in natural light creating a homely ambience.

At the bow, an intimate outdoor owner's terrace provides a private retreat with a strong connection to the water. A large section of the foredeck has been transformed into a glass-lined atrium, complete with freestanding armchairs, a pergola and an array of plants. Large sliding glass doors connect the atrium to the full-beam owner’s suite, which features an en-suite bathroom, dedicated office and dressing room.

A wood-and-metal staircase leads from the patio to the deck above. Here, the owner’s privates sanctuary continues with two beautifully sculpted sofas, tucked beneath the superstructure’s wraparound dark glazing. This two-deck private terrace is totally unique feature and unusual even for larger superyachts.

Significant attention has been given to the yacht's beach club, which features a cascade effect of shallow steps from the main deck to the swim platform at the water's edge. At the top, the steps are lead to a convivial C-shaped lounging area with low coffee tables.

A focal point of this space is the glass-backed pool, which transforms into a relaxation centre with ample seating, thanks to fold-down wings. When in full beach mode, guest can enjoy a commodious 71-square-metres of space, with access to the water provided by a hydraulic platform.

At the very top sits a versatile sundeck, where guests can lounge upon a triple sun lounger and enjoy sea views through a curved glass windscreen. A sleek black hardtop provides ample shade to a bar and dining table further aft.

This is a highly flexible space, with the option to include freestanding sofas for relaxed lounging, but it could just as well be turned into an open-air gym, cinema or even a hot tub.

“We are incredibly proud to introduce the Sirena 42M as the new flagship of our brand,” said CEO of Sirena Marine, Çağın Genç.

“This yacht represents a major milestone for the shipyard and the result of years of experience, investment and determination from our entire team. From her engineering and performance to the quality of her design and craftsmanship, every detail has been developed to meet the expectations of the superyacht market.”

Powered by MAN V12-1450 engines, each delivering1,450hp at 2,100rpm, the Sirena 42M can reach a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. A 46,000-litre tankage gives a transoceanic range of 4,600 nautical miles. Power on board comes from two 80kW generators, driving stabilisers, a Mediterranean-specification air-conditioning system and an 83kW bow-thruster.

The yacht features a dedicated tender garage designed with integrated safety measures and a pantograph-style opening door. The garage can accommodate a tender of up to 5.65 metres.

According to BOATPro, Sirena Yachts has two yachts under construction, the 26.7-metre Sirena 88 and 25-metre Sirena 78. In September, the yard released interior images of the first unit from its Sirena 118 superyacht series, Ikigai, during her world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
