UAE builder Gulf Craft has extended its Nomad Yachts range with three solar-powered models.
The yard unveiled the new Nomad SUV range at the Dubai International Boat Show. The solar powered range comprises three models; the 20 metre 65, 22.8 metre 75 and the 30 metre flagship 95.
All three models feature semi-displacement hybrid hulls designed by naval architect Andrew Wolstenholme to “withstand any sea condition.”
The yard described the three yachts as “practical, long range, luxury yachts” aimed at “adventurous seafarers with a desire to explore new cruising grounds.”
Developed as part of the company’s ambition to “reduce its carbon footprint”, the SUV yachts will feature exterior and interior styling designed in-house.
The yachts will also boast increased stability and fuel efficiency and are “engineered to offer premium comfort, safety and oceangoing capability.”
Speaking at the unveiling of the new range at the Dubai International Boat Show, chairman Mohammed Alshaali said the Nomad SUV series would “redefine the future of yachting.”
“They are created for those who enjoy escaping the routine and travelling together with their families. The Nomad Yachts transform yachting into a memorable experience for the guests onboard. It is truly the future of family yachting,” he said.
