Heesen Yachts has revealed how it collaborated with John Staluppi and Frank Mulder to build the fastest yacht in the world in a new documentary.
The newly released documentary named Octopussy: The Yacht That Couldn’t be Built offers behind the scenes insight into how the ground-breaking feat was achieved.
Compiling interviews with John Staluppi, Frank Mulder and Frans Heesen of Heesen Yachts, the documentary tells the story of the iconic 43.68 yacht Octopussy, which reached a record breaking 53.17 knots in 1988 and put the Dutch yard on the map for good.
