Latest 31m Horizon FD100 motor yacht launched

23 December 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts has launched the fourteenth hull from its Fast Displacement FD100 Tri-Deck yacht series. The 31-metre new build is now available for delivery in the US market.

Hull 14 of the FD100 line – penned by Cor D. Rover – is said to combine high-volume interiors with a "sophisticated, curated style".  Full-height windows and generous deck areas characterise the model, while inside, the interior has been penned to a "European minimalism" scheme, decorated with rich materials including natural dyed oak and Mikado Calacatta Fantasy quartz.

The layout on board is designed to be versatile, bridging the gap between formal entertaining and relaxed comfort. The main aft deck is centred around an adjustable table with movable sofas on three sides and an L‑shaped stone‑topped bar.

Moving forward, the main saloon and dining area are host to indirect lighting for a "soft feel". A black‑stained walnut table anchors the dining area, while a "Hi-Lo Wavy" glass partition can be used to close off the galley.

Accommodation is across a five-cabin layout, with a full-beam master suite positioned forward on the main deck and four en suite cabins on the lower deck, comprising two mirrored VIPs amidships, a forward VIP and a portside cabin with convertible twin berths. On board crew accommodations are for up to five, in addition to a captain’s cabin and crew mess.

Guests can enjoy a "hybrid" beach club, which is complete with a bar, wet storage and an indoor wet head with a rain shower

The upper deck is home to an enclosed skylounge, defined by the yard as a "private, climate‑controlled retreat", with a large L‑shaped sofa and a fully equipped wet bar flanked by two full‑height, backlit stone wine cabinets. Up top, a Jacuzzi and integrated shower, sun pads, a wet bar and a 360-degree rotating 55‑inch TV complete the offerings on board.

The shipyard currently has 13 yachts on order or under construction, according to BOATPro. Earlier this year, Horizon officially completed work on a new state-of-the-art shiplift system.
