Following the refit projects of Aurora (161ft) in 2010 and Sea Hunter (130ft) in 2011, the Horizon Group Refit Department has received another project - the 227ft Saluzi motoryacht.

Originally built as a small cruise ship, and named Tia Moana, she was recently bought by an Asian owner who now wants her converted into a proper superyacht. The refit project includes modifying the 37 medium-sized cabins into 16 spacious staterooms, as well as adding Jacuzzis, sun pads, teak decking, and custom interior décor. Horizon say that their '25 years of experience in luxury yacht manufacturing and advanced build technology ensure that Saluzi is will be refitted to her owners’ expectations.'

Saluzi is Horizon’s largest refit project to date, and is currently docked at their Premier shipyard, which features 656ft (200m) of waterfront property and an automatic float on/off launch barge with a 650-ton lifting capacity. The Saluzi project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.
