21 April 2021 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

Yacht designer and BDA judge Alexandre Thiriat has revealed a 33.5m hydrogen-powered catamaran concept named Corellian 110.

With sustainability at the forefront of the design, the Corellian 110 catamaran is fitted with electric/ hydrogen propulsion systems capable of achieving 2X500KW. Elsewhere, the yacht features solar panels and a low-drag recycled aluminium hull and is capable of zero-emission cruising.

Designed for ease of handling and interior comfort, the catamaran can access shallow ports and remote anchorages thanks to a shallow draft, and boasts 185 sqm exterior areas.

The 203 sqm fully customisable interior areas can accommodate between eight and 12 guests, with fold-out platforms found in each of the VIP cabins.

Outside, the catamaran features large open area areas, with a Jacuzzi, pool, ample sunpads and a large beach club aft. Suitable for private use and charter, the concept was described as a “private island for adventures around the world” by designer Thiriat.
