Leopard launches motor yacht Koji

15 August 2012

Leopard Yachts began August with the launch of its 34 metre yacht named Koji, which was ordered by an European client. Koji is the 16th yacht to have been delivered in the 34 metre line.

The Leopard 34m is an open motor yacht built of composite Kevlar and fibreglass with the design signature of Andre Bacigalupo. Propelled by 2,400hp engines distributed on three hydro jet propellers the yacht can reach a top speed of 45 knots.

Despite all this power, noise and vibrations have been minimised thanks to soundproofing in the engine room and state-of-the-art technology.

Features of the yacht include its spacious deck areas at both the stern and bow, and wide sunbathing areas that the owner can customise.

The interior has been designed by Laura Pomponi of Luxury Projects. A stylishly furnished owner's area is located on the main deck below the helm station, while the light-filled saloon is aft of the helm station. Cabins are on the lower deck - in this case a midships owner's cabin, VIP and guest cabin, although other configurations are possible.

Located aft, the crew quarters for five crew members have direct access to the galley, the engine room and the other service areas, are located aft.
