We were the first to give you full details of this unusual yacht during her construction at the Polish yard Conrad. Now we can announce that she was successfully launched on June 27th and christened Lunar.

Lunar is 35.3m ketch-rigged motor-sailing yacht built in aluminium. Her modern design comes from Newcruise Yacht Projects & Design, more precisely by its former principal designer Frank Neubelt, while her naval architecture is by Vripack and Juliusz Strawinski.

The interior, designed by the in-house team, accommodates up to eight guests on the lower deck in a full-beam master suite and three twin cabins, all with Pullmans and all convertible into doubles.

Lunar has twin Lorima carbon masts and is powered by twin 725hp Caterpillar C-18 engines giving a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a possible transatlantic range. Special features include a pool on the foredeck, which is also the berth for the main tender when underway.

Currently under sea trials, Lunar will be delivered at the end of July. She will also make her debut during the Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes, next September, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Conrad Shipyard.
