Sergei Dobroserdov at Nakhimov Yachts asks me to post news that he’s sold a new 31.7m motor yacht currently in build at Sanlorenzo, on behalf of a Russian client.

To be named Indigo, this yacht is the latest in the successful SL104 series, first introduced by the Ameglia-based shipyard in 2009. With naval architecture by Francesco Paszkowski, Indigo is a raised pilothouse design with twin MTU 16V2000 M93 engines offering a maximum speed of 29 knots.

Interior design was created in collaboration between the shipyard, Nakhimov and the owner, using a combination of modern and classic Italian style with Maxalto and B&B Italia furniture.

Comfortable accommodation is provided for eight guests and comprises a main deck owner’s suite, with a VIP stateroom and two twin bed cabins on the lower deck, all with en-suite bathrooms. The on-board entertainment system is also fully iPad and iPhone compatible.

Indigo is being built to RINA class and is scheduled for delivery early July 2012. She will then spend her first season in the Western Mediterranean.

Following delivery, Nakhimov will continue a programme of complete yacht management, as well as holding the central agency for charter.
