In September, CNC (Chantier Naval Couach) presented a complete new collection of nine yachts between 13 and 47 metres, including a new 26.5m motor yacht.
The new Couach 2600 Fly is built in glass, kevlar and carbon. Designed by Exequiel Cano-Lanza and the in-house team, this new model offers a modern and sporty line emphasised by large portholes, windows and openings to the outside. These features bring a lot of natural light inside.
The interior accommodates eight guests in four staterooms on the lower deck. Mid ship you find the full-beam master cabin with independent access from the main deck. The other cabins are forward comprising a VIP, a double and a twin. The two crew cabins are independent aft, for four members.
Two options are possible in the engine room. The 2600 Fly can be powered by twin 1,800hp MAN engines or by twin 1,900hp Caterpillars. The top speed expected is 32 knots with a cruising speed of 22 knots giving a range of 700 nautical miles.
The first Couach 2600 Fly, currently under construction, will be launched in 2013.
