Second Mangusta Oceano 52 yacht model sold

Brokerage firm Camper & Nicholsons has announced the sale of the second Mangusta Oceano 52, with new build sales manager Francesca Ragnetti representing the buyer. The 52-metre displacement yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2028, with construction oversight provided by Camper & Nicholsons’ New Build Division.

The Oceano 52 is the flagship of Italian shipyard Mangusta Yachts' (a brand of Overmarine Group) steel and aluminium displacement range. Known for its high-performance open yachts, Mangusta has taken a more voluminous, long-range approach with the Oceano line.

A focus on open sightlines has shaped much of the yacht’s design, with extensive glazing, glass gunwales and technical refinements aimed at enhancing exterior views. According to Mangusta, the result delivers the feel of a 60-metre yacht within a 499GT, 9.2-metre-beam platform.

A tiered beach club forms the centrepiece aft, spanning almost nine metres, with fold-down terraces and a pool at the waterline. Additional outdoor areas are found across the upper deck and sundeck, complemented by a crow’s nest located above the wheelhouse.

The owner’s suite sits forward on the upper deck and opens onto a private terrace, featuring the brand’s signature infinity pool with island sunpads and in-water loungers. A private staircase links this area to what Mangusta describes as a “patio lounge” on the main deck.

Camper & Nicholsons’ New Build Division will manage the project from contract to delivery, supported by its in-house technical and interior design teams.

This follows the sale of the first unit in the yard's Oceano 52 line in October 2025, which began on-spec construction earlier in the year before it was purchased by an experienced South American owner. Delivery of the first unit is scheduled for spring 2027.
