The Overmarine Group has used the occasion of the Cannes Yachting Festival to reveal its latest superyacht model; the 31.6 metre Mangusta Sport 104.
The Mangusta Sport 104 is the yard’s first yacht to be designed by Igor Lobanov and is intended for Mediterranean cruising and crossings.
According to the yard, the model will retain the “speed, comfort and elegant aesthetics” of its Maxi Open Series, while “reinterpreting key performance and lifestyle characteristics”.
Key design features include a “striking” bulwark design, which sees the connection of wide exterior windows to let plentiful natural light into the master and guest cabins.
This frame feature “ensures outstanding visibility” while also still enabling the yacht to be built to BV Class and MCA Code, the yard said.
Elsewhere, the yacht features a tender garage, which can store a five metre tender and a large Jet Ski. The garage door too aesthetically “emphasises the yacht’s aggressive profile”, the yard said.
While accommodation capacity is not known, Overmarine described the interior as a “sophisticated yet liveable environment” and revealed that a number of interior layouts are available.
Power will come from MTU 16V2000M96L engines for a top speed of 35 knots.
