RMK Marine has partnered with Italian design studio Hot Lab to present a 65 metre concept at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Described as “aggressive and stylish” the steel and aluminium RMK65 features naval architecture by RMK while the interior and exterior design has been handled by the Italian studio.
The model comes after the two companies collaborated on the RMK58, which scooped a coveted Neptune Award in 2014.
Speaking about the concept, Hot Lab’s Antonio Romano said: "It can be said that the RMK65 is based on the RMK58. We have, however, extended the forebody considerably, given the yacht a sportier look and a vertical bow. In addition, almost all the features that owners in this category simply expect today are integrated".
Key features include a five metre long infinity pool and lounge area on the main deck. The main deck saloon features a bar, piano and dining table for 14 people with floor to ceiling windows providing plenty of light.
A Jacuzzi sits above on the 200 square metre sun deck while a skylounge and al fresco dining area can be found on the upper deck.
The 1300GT interior has ample accommodation for 14 guests in seven cabins. These include three VIP cabins on the lower deck, a further two VIPs and a final VIP on the upper deck. The full 12 metre beam master suite sits on the main deck.
The service area on the lower deck includes a galley, crew mess and seven crew cabins, while the captain’s cabin sits on the upper deck.
The tender garage is spacious enough to accommodate two nine metre tenders alongside five large jet skis, all of which are launched through the hull openings.
Power comes from a pair of Cat 3516B diesel engines for a maximum speed of 17 knots and range of 6,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Yacht department director at RMK Marin Özgür Numan said: “With this very modern RMK65 we are sure to convince lots of clients who are looking for sporty lines with generous volume. Construction of this vessel can start immediately due to our capacity in Istanbul.”
