Sunreef presents their new 90 Ultimate catamaran series

26 November 2012 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Each year sees an innovative new design from Sunreef. The Polish yard introduced the Sunreef 80 in 2010, the Sunreef 75 in 2011, and now the Sunreef 90 Ultimate.

The Sunreef 90 Ultimate is a new 27.4m sailing catamaran developed over six months by the in-house designers. She will be oriented to performance thanks to a construction in carbon fibre. Her light displacement should ensure a top speed exceeding 20 knots.

The Sunreef 90 Ultimate is also an eco-friendly yacht. Her superstructure will be covered by solar panels (54sqm producing 8kW), and equipped with hydro-generators, both solutions producing most of the necessary power at anchor. The roofs of the superstructure will accommodate the solar panels on large glass panels. They will partially allow the daylight to come in.

The Sunreef 90 Ultimate will accommodate 8 guests in four cabins. The lounge, galley and the master suite will be on the main deck, the later having direct access to the foredeck with spa pool, bar and chaise longues. The three other double cabins will be located in the hulls.

Following the presentation of the innovative Sunreef 85 catamaran motor yacht, the Polish yard has followed up with the Sunreef 90 Ultimate on the sailing side.
