Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has announced the sale of its first TX450 explorer model with delivery expected in spring 2025.
The custom project is a new take on the 45-metre Tankoa T450 concept conceived by Giorgio Cassetta and sold at the end of 2021. While initial renderings remain under wraps, the shipyard revealed that the design will feature a "graceful profile, unmistakably in line with Tankoa's design DNA."
“The concept of the yacht was developed around the idea of exploring the world in comfort, and Cassetta up came with a very balanced design that we define as a crossover style, matching perfectly the proportions of an explorer with the elegant touch typical of all Tankoa yachts,” said Claudio Corvino, Tankoa sales and business development manager.
Spanning four decks, the stand-out features onboard the TX450, include two pools and the large beach club across three levels. Additional space for socialising and entertainment can also be found throughout the decks. Meanwhile, inside, there is a gym and spa area for guests.
“The yacht was really designed in cooperation with her discerning owner, who has been involved in all the details of the exterior and interior design from day one, said Corvino.”
Accommodation can be flexible, with the use of a multipurpose room bringing the total up to six guests. The staterooms are on the main deck, including the owners' suite.
The TX450 is currently in the final stages of engineering with construction due to begin shortly. Tankoa has eight other projects currently in build, including two S501s, two T450s, two T55 Sportiva, a T580 Custom and the Tankoa Vitruvius 52.
