Custom Line, a brand of Ferretti Group, has celebrated the launch of the tenth unit in its Navetta 42 series. The 41.8-metre, GRP yacht was lowered into the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy.
While the name has not been disclosed, the model has been revealed to belong to an Asian owner based in the APAC region. Her exteriors are owed to Zuccon International Project alongside naval architecture by the Ferretti Engineering Department.
The shipyard claimed “formal clarity” and “a functional aesthetic” to be the yacht’s key elements, “striking the eye as extensions of the owner’s personality”.
Accommodation is for up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a master cabin which is positioned so as to offer panoramic views out over the main deck. There is further accommodation for a crew of up to seven.
The stern is the main recreational area with an extensive beach club that opens up at sea level. It also features a lateral-opening tender garage which keeps the launch and recovery of the tender and toys separate from the guest area.
Interior design is courtesy of Custom Line Atelier, who have opted for designer furniture and fine materials such as Bianco Gioia and Calacatta Gold marble to achieve a styling that is both “sumptuous and subtle”. A warm, gentle colour palette of ivory, cream and sand lend the space an airier, brighter feel, bolstered by the model’s characteristically long lines of glazing.
Powered by twin MTU engines, the Navetta 42 model can reach top speeds of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. It is also the first Custom Line series with transatlantic cruising capacity, boasting a range of over 3,000 nautical miles.
This news follows the launch of the ninth Navetta 42 model, M Together, in March.
