Tureddi Yachts has announced the sale of the first unit from its 52-metre flagship Stil Novo yacht series, in what marks the Italian shipyard's official entry into large custom yacht building and the largest new build ever sold under the brand.
The deal was completed in collaboration with John Wood of Seawood Yacht Sales, who introduced the buyer, while the yard was represented by its CEO, Alessandro Tureddi.
“Stil Novo is much more than our flagship; it is the yacht that marks our entry into the world of custom mega yachts," commented Tureddi. "This project represents years of investment, determination and vision, and demonstrates what our team is capable of delivering when design, engineering and craftsmanship come together with a shared ambition. This is not simply the completion of a sale - it is the beginning of a new era for our shipyard.”
Marco Casali of Too Design is behind the entire design of the 52-metre, which is described by the yard as blending " timeless Italian elegance with contemporary styling", developed for both long-range private cruising and charter operations. Highlights of the build include expensive exterior decks, spacious guest accommodation and a range of onboard amenities, including a large aft swimming pool. Interiors, meanwhile, are said to be elegant and "highly liveable". All other specs and details remain private.
Commenting on the sale, Wood added: “We are delighted to have introduced the buyer for the first Stil Novo 52M. Although our client was initially considering several established shipyards for his next yacht, he was ultimately convinced by Tureddi Yachts’ proven pedigree, technical expertise and extensive experience in the construction of large yacht hulls and superstructures for third-party projects.”
According to BOATPro, Tureddi Yachts has two yachts already under development, including the first 24-metre TD79.
