reasons to buy 50m Rush with Imperial Yachts

A modern superyacht whose sleek lines make room for luxurious interiors, 49.9 metre Overmarine superyacht Rush is listed for sale with Imperial Yachts. Take a look inside to discover why she could be the perfect vessel for you…

Delivered in 2010 as hull number five in the Mangusta 165 series, Rush’s long, lean lines have made her an icon in ports across the Mediterranean. Designed in-house by Overmarine’s expert naval architects, who were aided by designer Stefano Righini, her powerful form earned her a finalist spot at the World Superyacht Awards 2011 and mean fast comfortable cruising with a top speed in excess of 30 knots.

Her vast exterior spaces

Wherever you’re planning to take your new yacht, chances are the weather will be glorious, meaning elegant outside spaces are a must. Happily, Rush offers them in abundance. Key highlights include a large area on the main deck aft featuring a gorgeous shaded dining table that seats 10 on comfortable sofa-style seating as well as a large sunbathing area. Forward on the bow guests will find a Jacuzzi and further sunbathing area, along with a coffee table surrounded by sunpads, offering the perfect spot to watch the sunset with cocktails. Meanwhile, the sun deck presents the ideal place to dine al fresco thanks to its panoramic views, which can also be enjoyed from sunpads and a second helm station.

Her opulent interiors

Luckily for those staying on board, Rush looks as good on the inside as she does on the outside. Her design scheme by Giorgio Vafiadis maximises natural light while maintaining a masculine, opulent feel. Luxurious materials abound throughout with high gloss Wenge wood, mother of pearl, onyx, silk-blend carpets and Foglizzo leather all adding to the lavish atmosphere.

The main deck saloon boasts high ceilings and huge windows with a formal dining area aft and a large social space centred around a large circular sofa and 82" television. All accommodation on Rush is located on the lower deck and is for 12 guests across five cabins. These include a spectacular full beam owner's suite with his and hers bathrooms, a VIP in the bow, one double cabin and two twins. Naturally, the interior design scheme flows through each of the cabins with subtle differences made to create a unique atmosphere in each space while contributing to a harmonious whole.

Her high-end facilities

And, while Rush's interior is undoubtedly impressive, it is in the unexpected extras that she really sets herself apart. Also located on the lower deck is a well-equipped gym, that doubles as a massage space complete with a steam room – an unusual addition on an open yacht such as this. She also boasts a well stocked toy box featuring all the latest thrill-seeking gadgets.

Of course, with all this space and technology to attend to, an experienced crew is essential. A recently upgraded crew area now offers accommodation for nine crew between five cabins meaning her new owner's every wish will be quickly catered to.
