IYC has been appointed the exclusive official representative for Turkish boat builder Bering Yachts across the Americas, in a move designed to strengthen the brokerage's presence in the explorer yacht and expedition vessel segment.
The agreement covers the Americas, including North America (the United States, Canada and Mexico), Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas and South America.
IYC will represent the full Bering range throughout the area, including aluminium explorer displacement catamarans, steel monohull explorer yachts under 24 metres and the shipyard’s expanding portfolio of explorer superyachts above 24 metres, including projects exceeding 500GT.

North America represents a key market for Bering, with growing interest in yachts designed for extended cruising, autonomy and exploration.
Alexei Mikhailov, founder and CEO of Bering Yachts, said of the partnership: “IYC shares our understanding of what modern yacht ownership is becoming: vessels that offer genuine capability, autonomy and the freedom to travel extensively."
IYC sales consultant Josh Marshall will lead the representation of Bering Yachts throughout the region. He said: “Bering has developed a distinctive offering for owners who want to go beyond traditional cruising, combining robust engineering with the range and autonomy to explore further. I’m looking forward to working closely with the Bering team to introduce more clients across the Americas to the range and help them identify the right yacht for their ambitions.”

Raphael Sauleau, CEO of IYC, added: “This partnership is a natural fit for IYC and reflects our commitment to offering clients access to an increasingly diverse range of yachts and ownership opportunities. Bering has established a strong position in the explorer segment, and we see significant potential to build on that across the Americas.
"With Josh leading our representation, we look forward to developing the partnership and supporting clients interested in yachts designed for a different kind of adventure.”
The partnership was introduced at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), marked by a joint press conference aboard the 44-metre Bering flagship Heeus. Earlier this year, BOAT stepped aboard the flagship, which is currently listed for sale, to find out more about the "ultra-tough" steel yacht.
