Two men charged for hiding sanctioned Russian owner’s ties to superyacht Tango

The United States Department of Justice has announced that it has charged British national Richard Masters and Russian national Vladislav Osipov with facilitating a sanctions evasion and a money laundering scheme in relation to the ownership and operation of 77.7 metre Tango. Sanctions were placed against the owner of the yacht, Russian businessman Viktor Vekselberg, by the United States in April 2018.
