Charter yacht of the week: Dunya Yachts' 72m turquoise-blue Axioma

5 March 2026 • Written by Georgia Boscawen

Each week, BOAT selects one of the world’s finest superyachts for charter. This week, we take a closer look at Axioma, the 72-metre Dunya motor yacht with a striking turquoise-blue hull and bold profile. Having undergone a refit in 2025, Axioma is a hugely impressive (and popular) yacht for charter, with a range of amenities for the whole family…

Why charter Axioma?

With her striking turquoise-blue hull and bold profile, Axioma was delivered in 2013 as the debut build by Dunya Yachts. She is now available for charter following a multi-million-euro 2025 refit. The yacht for charter has an Alberto Pinto interior, which has been designed (and remains) to a relaxed beach-house style, full of colour and light, with the spectacular centrepiece being a double-height main salon that rises to a mezzanine level.

During the yacht for charter's 2025 refit, the hull and superstructure were repainted in this striking shade of turquoise. Other updates included new technical systems, hydraulics, stabilisers, a galley upgrade, new teak (and teak maintenance) and a host of new toys.

Axioma has long since been known to have one of the best water toy collections on the market, as well as a gym. She carries two inflatable sailing boats, an eight-person banana boat, SeaBobs, a waverunner, kayaks, paddleboards, diving equipment and a surfboard.

Light-coloured woods and natural fabrics are used throughout, along with bold pops of colour. Her interiors feature an impressive mezzanine main saloon, a formal dining room, a 3D cinema, a fully equipped gym, a massage room, a steam room, and deck spaces complete with a Jacuzzi and a swim-up bar. Accommodation on board is for 12 guests across six cabins, with flexible arrangements.

Interior mood

There are just a few yachts on the market that boast such a fine example of Alberto Pinto's work. The 72-metre Axioma is one of them. The design blends casual beach-house vibes with signature pops of colour on the soft furnishings and furniture.

The feeling on board is inherently relaxed, with plenty of space to lounge around inside. With a volume of 1,620GT, there is plenty of space on board to relax and spread out. Axioma is a top choice for family and multi-generational charter boats, offering space and flexibility.

Axioma's main saloon is one of the show-stopping features on board. This double-height main atrium is flooded with natural light thanks to the large windows on both levels. The main saloon has a large seating area with free-standing furniture and a sit-up bar forward. The main interior dining area is separate in its own dedicated space forward of the main saloon. There is a dedicated eight-seat surround sound cinema on board for cosy evenings as well as a gym and a wellness centre complete with a massage room, steam room and a beauty treatment space.

Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests in six cabins. The owner's private deck is a highlight, complete with wraparound windows, a private terrace, a study, a walk-in wardrobe, a skylight, and a large en suite with a Jacuzzi and shower.

The remaining five guest cabins are all located on the main deck, comprising a full-beam VIP forward and two doubles and two convertible twin cabins, each with an en suite and individual styling. Meanwhile, there are further quarters for a crew of 20.

Out on deck

The deck space on board Axioma has been carefully designed for entertaining and is spread across four decks. On the main deck, the yacht for charter has a large glass-fronted infinity pool, situated near a relaxed lounge area. Here, there is also a seating area and a large coffee table -  a perfect spot for a morning espresso. A Jacuzzi with a swim-up bar is located on the bridge deck, with easy access to the sundeck and its generous lounging areas.

Axioma's sundeck has been designed as a social hub with large white sofas with sky-blue piping. There is also a fully stocked bar for sundowners or coffee throughout the day. There is also an additional Jacuzzi on the bridge deck. The main al fresco dining area is on the upper deck aft, with a large round table for 14 guests.

Toys and wellness

The yacht for charter lends herself well to health-conscious charters thanks to her large deck spaces, including the foredeck, which can be transformed into a space for yoga or group fitness sessions. The spa amenities include a sauna and steam room, as well as a dedicated treatment room for sessions with the on-board beauty therapist.
