Christophe Harbour in St Kitts has joined forces with luxury private terminal YU Lounge to offer an “unrivalled” runway to marina service. The new service means that guests can be on their yacht within 30 minutes of touching down in St Kitts thanks to expedited customs processing and security.
As part of the service yacht owners and charter guests will be greeted by a luxury car upon arrival and transported to the YU lounge where they can enjoy five-star service and a selection of food and drinks while their baggage and customs requirements are handled.
The same service will also be available for departing marina guests. YU lounge will be able to look after check in and immigration procedures and simply escort guests to their flight.
The new partnership has arisen due to a dramatic increase in the number of yachts in the area since superyacht marina Christophe Harbour officially opened in February. Last year St Kitts and Nevis enjoyed a record Caribbean cruising season with more than 130 superyachts visiting the region.
“Since the opening of Christophe Harbour’s marina earlier this year, we’ve enjoyed significant momentum and buzz from across the sector. The amount of yachting activity we’ve seen is unprecedented for St. Kitts and will only increase as progress continues as new services and amenities are introduced,” said Buddy Darby, Christophe Harbour founder and CEO. “With expanding marina services and seamless experience offered through our partnership with YU Lounge, we are confident St. Kitts is perfectly poised to become the new gateway to the Caribbean.”
The new collaboration was announced at an event at last week’s Monaco Yacht Show.
