6 of the best superyachts spotted in St Barts this holiday season

C2 may not be the largest yacht moored in St Barts this festive season but she has certainly gained the most headlines thanks to her celebrity guests spotted on board — Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner.

The One Direction singer and model caused an Internet storm when they were snapped getting cosy on board 78 metre C2.

Delivered in 2009 by Abeking & Rasmussen C2 has accommodation for up to 14 guests and a crew of 19, some of whom were seen helping Kendall Jenner enjoy the yacht's water toys.

No festive season in St Barts would be complete without the arrival of Roman Abramovich’s superyacht Eclipse.

The owner of Chelsea Football Club not only hosts a lavish New Year’s Eve party at his mansion on the island but also likes to moor the 164 metre Eclipse nearby.

One of the largest yachts in the world, Eclipse boasts plenty of deck space and Abramovich’s wife was snapped sunbathing on board.

While it is traditional for Abramovich to vacation on the celebrity favourite Caribbean island of St Barts over the festive season there was surprise last summer when Eclipse was spotted off Greenock in Scotland.

Silver Fast

Delivered in 2015 77 metre Silver Fast was spotted in St Barts over the holidays.

Designed by Espen Oeino the superfast Silver Fast is the world's largest and fastest aluminium motor yacht, capable of speeds in excess of 27 knots.

Some of the yachts other standout features include an outdoor cinema, a glass-fronted eight person Jacuzzi and one of the best superyacht spas including sauna, steam room, gym, massage room and beauty salon.

It is not clear who was on board Silver Fast but with accommodation for 18 guests there is room for plenty of friends or family.

Silver Fast is currently listed for sale asking €79.5 million.

Lady Lara

Lürssen’s recently delivered 91 metre superyacht Lady Lara made her St Barts debut this festive season.  Lady Lara created quite a stir when she was spotted in Dartmouth, England in December before crossing the Atlantic. She is expected to spend the rest of the winter season in Florida and the Bahamas.

Previously known as Project Orchid the yacht's exterior and interior design comes from Reymond Langton.

Lady Lara will be used privately by her owners but she is one of the coolest yachts we wish was available for charter.

Rising Sun

The 138 metre Lürssen Rising Sun stood out among the throng of superyachts enjoying the festive season in St Barts.

Originally built for co-founder and CEO of Oracle Larry Ellison there were rumours that during her contraction she was extended by 18 metres to ensure she was longer than Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s 126.2 metre Octopus.

Media mogul David Geffen bought the yacht in 2010, having previously purchased a half share in 2006.

The yachts stand out features include a gym, a cinema, an extensive wine cellar, basketball court and a tender which is capable of transporting Rising Sun’s 4x4 vehicle to the shore.

Launched by Lürssen in 1997 96.25 metre Limitless still turned heads when she arrived in St Barts for the holidays. Built for Leslie Wexner, head of lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret, Limitless’ build was inspired by Carinthia VI. She was the first yacht to feature a combination of diesel and diesel-electric propulsion.

No pictures of Limitless’ interior have been published but it is believed that she can accommodate 10 guests and has a crew of 20.
