The BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards are specifically devised to judge and recognise the design teams responsible for individual elements of a superyacht. Aspects of the most impressive yachts launched in the preceding calendar year are scrutinised and judged by a panel of design experts.
It is more important than ever that your entry materials are well organised and detailed with the correct information that judges are looking for. Below you will find a couple of example statements from previously successful nominations that you can use as a guide.

Tips for a Winning EntryDue to the current travel restrictions and the cancellation of many boat shows throughout 2020, this year we are asking Design and Innovation Award entries to include (if possible) a virtual walkthrough as if the judge was being shown the yacht. This can be up to a maximum of 5 minutes and should focus on the category being entered along with an explanation of the spaces or features being shown as a narration or subtitles. This video does not need to be filmed professionally as it will be used for the judging only.
