Having received over 200 nominations for the fourth edition of the ShowBoats Design Awards, Boat International Media's team of senior editors were once again called upon to refine this impressive list to a smaller number of outstanding finalists.
The shortlisted designs will now be put forward for a second round of judging by a wholly independent judging panel of yacht owners, senior yacht crew and acclaimed naval architects, designers and stylists from within as well as outside the marine industry, who will decide the winners of the coveted Golden Neptune trophies.
Many congratulations to all of the owners and designers responsible for these exceptional yachts. To be shortlisted for these prestigious awards is a notable achievement in itself and we wish all finalists the very best of luck.
The winners will be announced during a glittering gala evening at the Monaco Opera House on June 21, in front of a VIP audience of yacht owners and industry professionals from around the globe.
The prize giving ceremony once again coincides with the 23rd edition of The Rendezvous in Monaco, a unique four-day event for superyacht owners on the Côte d'Azur, and we anticipate that many of the newly-delivered finalist yachts will be berthed in Port Hercule to join in the yachting festivities.
