The Barcelona Golf Invitational presented by BOAT and Voly has confirmed that professional golfer Trey Niven will attend this year’s edition as its special guest. Taking place on 20-21 May 2026, the event's third edition will return to the world-renowned Stadium Course at Camiral A Quinta do Lago Resort just outside Barcelona.
A PGA professional with a multifaceted career, Niven has built a strong reputation both within the sport and across the wider golf community. Alongside his work as a coach, he is a familiar face to television audiences as a Sky Sports pundit, regularly providing expert analysis on both the PGA and LPGA Tours. His ability to break down the nuances of the game for viewers has made him a respected voice in golf media.
As an adidas global ambassador and prominent content creator, Niven has cultivated a wide following, sharing insights, coaching tips and behind-the-scenes perspectives that resonate with players of all levels. His impact on the game has also earned him a place among Golf Monthly’s Top 50 UK Coaches.

Niven will be joined at this year’s event by Tom Whitehouse, a former DP World Tour professional turned elite coach, who returns to the Barcelona Golf Invitational to host a dedicated short game clinic. Offering expert tips and hands-on guidance, Whitehouse allows guests to refine their technique prior to tee off.
Welcoming yacht owners, captains and the wider industry to a world-renowned golf resort, the two-day programme offers the chance to socialise with key players in the industry through golf both on and off the course.
