Event Partner: Oceanco

Oceanco is a leading yacht builder of custom large yachts with an innovative purpose-built state-of-the art dry dock capable of accommodating superyachts up to 160m in length. With the increasing demand for larger and more complex superyachts, Oceanco is renovating its outfitting facilities in Alblasserdam, to continue our mission and dedication to more sustainable practices by investing in green technologies. Similar to our 160m dry dock, which opened in 2015, this will also be ecologically enhanced and updated with state-of the-art technologies. Furthermore, Oceanco has recently acquired new construction and refit facilities in Zwijndrecht, as part of the company’s long-term initiative for growth, expansion and consolidation of its construction activities.

Since we are not weighted in the past, we are able to be forward thinkers in our field. We honor traditions but we are not set in our ways. To date 14 Oceanco yachts built since 2007 appear in the 'The World's Top 100 Yachts' list, which include the industry’s first 91.5m (300ft) PYC yacht Equanimity, the 86m (279ft) high performance ketch Aquijo, the 110m (361ft) Jubilee, the largest yacht ever built at Oceanco and in the Netherlands, the 106.7m (350ft) Black Pearl, the largest DynaRig sailing yacht in the world which has striking design that is commensurate to her innovative 70m (230ft) high mast system, followed by the 90m (295ft) DAR a groundbreaking design which has an unprecedented – nearly 24 tons and 400m2 of exterior glass, and last but not least the groundbreaking 109m (357ft) Bravo Eugenia, the first Oceanco to utilize its innovative LIFE (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel-efficient, Eco-friendly) design. Several superyachts are currently under construction and continuous research and development is wrapped around the constant search for new shapes, materials and technologies. Oceanco has a solid reputation as the ones who thrive on things which have never been done before.
