About the Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro 2016

About the Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro 2016

The Superyacht Rendezvous event is almost three decades old. It began in Monaco, where it was held for 25 years, before it moved to Montenegro for the first time in 2015. Following the success of last year's event, the Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro is returning to the unexplored cruising ground again for 2016.

The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro is popular for its social programme that blends partying with the famous cruise in company and luxurious dining in the region's finest restaurants.

The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro 2016 will again be held at superyacht heaven Porto Montenegro.

Montenegro as a yachting destination

Luxury yachting destination Montenegro boasts unspoiled beauty, an abundance of nature and clean, clear waters. Still a relatively undiscovered gem where eastern Europe meets west, the country’s 295km coastline has countless uninhabited islands, secret coves and charming harbours alongside unique historical sites – reminders of the country’s grand past.

Equally magnificent is Montenegro’s mountainous interior with its monasteries, river canyons, wildlife reserves, glacial lakes and one of the world’s most important national parks, Durmitor.

Home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Montenegro is rapidly growing in popularity as a tourist destination and whilst the world wakes up to the charms of this tiny Balkan state, strict governmental controls ensure that development remains limited and the country’s diverse landscape is well protected.
