The Young Designer of the Year Award, in partnership with Oceanco celebrates the original concepts of student and trainee designers from around the globe. This highly regarded award tasks young designers with a realistic client request to challenge their ideas, technical ability and aptitude for delivery. The brief is set to provide valuable and authentic insight into the reality of working as a designer within the superyacht industry.
The task
This year, students are asked to imagine themselves as members of a small design studio, which has recently completed a design for the renowned yacht builder, Oceanco. Click here to read more about the task for 2023.
