Get your skis ready for the ever-popular Ski Cup which will return as part of this year's Superyacht Design Symposium. In partnership with award-winning refit shipyard CompositeWorks, the 2017 Ski Cup is set to welcome superyacht stars to the slopes.
The CompositeWorks Ski Cup will be one of many highlights found within the exciting programme of alpine activities. Guests are offered the option of competitive skiing, or for those non-skiers, a selection of fun winter activities will also be available.
Those who do not wish to participate can cheer on the skiers from the comfort of the event’s après ski lodge. Complete with winter games, music, delicious Tyrolean treats and the all-essential après ski, the Ski Cup is designed to entertain ski enthusiasts and non-skiers alike.
This year’s Compositeworks Ski Cup will take place on the final day of the Superyacht Design Symposium and provides a chance for attendees to let their hair down after two days of stimulating discussion and workshops with the great and the good of the superyacht industry.
With topics ranging from the viability of modern concepts to the future of the yacht design business, and confirmed speakers including interior designer Celia Sawyer, futurist Tom Cheesewright and two must-see keynotes from Leonardo Ferragamo and Luca Bassani, the 2017 Symposium is guaranteed to be a highlight of the yachting calendar.
The full three-day programme comprises not only the Ski Cup and the Symposium but also an array of social events. Kicking off on day one with the prestigious ShowBoats Design Awards, hosted by Olympic gold medalist Shirley Robertson OBE, day two’s Mountain Lodge Party will this year be hosted by event partner Tai Ping at the Grander Schupf and promises traditional Tyrolean dancing and festivities to get everyone in the alpine spirit.
The Superyacht Design Symposium takes place from February 5-7, 2017 in Kitzbühel, Austria. Click here to book your tickets now.
