On 26 April 2026, BOAT International's Owners' Club gathered at one of the most enviable locations on the Monaco Historic Grand Prix circuit with Top Marques Monaco for an afternoon of vintage racing and socialising.
The event took place at the Balkin | Knight Frank office, perched directly above the start line with views of the circuit's most dramatic moments. As the roar of historic Formula One engines echoed through Monaco's streets, members enjoyed a champagne reception and canapés while a DJ set the tone for the day. Champagne and wine were generously provided by Omnia Wine, a modern wine consultancy redefining how fine wine is experienced.
The afternoon showcased some of motorsport's most iconic machinery spanning three decades, from 1950s sports racing cars to Formula One machines from the 1970s and 1980s.
A highlight of the day came with a conversation with Thierry Boutsen, the former Formula One driver whose career spanned some of the sport's most competitive years. Boutsen shared candid reflections on racing at Monaco, the evolution of the sport and what it takes to master one of the world's most demanding circuits.
Later in the afternoon, an Owners' Club member who had competed earlier in the day - piloting a Lotus 16 - joined the group fresh from the track.
Guests took advantage of exclusive paddock access throughout the day, getting up close to the cars, mechanics and drivers preparing for their races. The afternoon also featured a spectacular Ferrari parade.
The event was made possible by the generous support of the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry, Lily Gabriella Fine Jewellery and Bermuda Tourism Authority. Lily Gabriella Fine Jewellery presented a curated showcase of exquisite pieces for guests to admire alongside the racing.
