Doelker & Voges

History

Set up in 1997, superyacht designer Doelker and Voges’ work has been at the core of some of the world’s largest and most impressive custom superyachts. Headed by Felix Doelker and Robert Voges and based in Hamburg, Germany, the studio boasts a team of 19 in total covering exterior styling, custom interior design, superyacht space planning, interior engineering, creating production drawings and yacht outfitting management.

Notable Yachts

The team has collaborated with the world’s top yards on many of the world’s most significant custom superyacht projects including MY A, Al Mirqab, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s yacht Octopus, Pelorus, Dubai, Roman Abramovich’s yacht Eclipse, Vava II, and the world’s current largest superyacht Azzam, amongst many others.

Specialisations

In many ways Doelker + Voges is not your typical superyacht interior design house, often focussing on the more fundamental aspects of interior and exterior engineering. At the heart of this is ‘netpsace’ engineering – essentially taking the Doelker + Voges design team to the core of maximising available space through clever planning of the engineering aspects of the project as a whole. However, with the team comprising such skills as architecture, interior engineering, design and master cabinetmaking the work that they do is as diverse as the projects they have been involved with. The studio also undertakes residential projects.
