The Explorer Ice Class is a vision of a 21st Century polar explorer. Currently under construction at the Arkin Pruva shipyard in Turkey, the yacht is being built to RINA ice class with a 4,000 nautical-mile range to match.
Large expanses of glass hug the main and upper decks providing guests with uninterrupted views from every angle – a must when cruising in the most remote regions on earth. The Explorer Ice Class is home to 650 square metres of guest living space with accommodation for 12 in two master suites – one of the upper deck and one below – two VIPs and two twins. The interior has been conceived to offer a zen-like experience on board but can be completely customised to suit the desires of its new owner.
Across her four decks she boasts a beach club, gym and a 102 square metre flybridge, while the aft deck can be configured to carry tenders when underway with an infinity-edged swimming pool for salt-free swims at anchor.
The Explorer Ice Class has recently been upgraded to the latest IMO emissions regulations which means she’ll come equipped with brand new 2021 MAN engines fitted with SCR exhausts at no extra cost to the buyer.
