A call to Northrop & Johnson confirms a $3 million price drop on Kevin Merrigan's central listing, the 48.77m motor yacht Newvida.

Built by Delta Marine in 2001, Newvida can accommodate 10 guests in a master, two double and two twin cabins. She had a major refit in 2009 including extensive upgrades to her communications and audio/visual equipment. The main saloon on the bridge deck now boasts a 61" flat screen television, plush cushioned window seating and a Gran Tour player piano. Twin 1100hp Caterpillar engines give Newvida a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Newvida is down from $17.9 million to $14.9 million.
