A $750,000 price drop has been announced on the 33.7-metre Royal Hakvoort Shipyard motor yacht Beowulf, listed for sale with Peter Brown of Burgess. She is currently on display at this week's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Beowulf was built in steel and aluminium in 2002 to a design by Willem De Vries Lentsch Jr. She was designed as a world-cruising "gentleman's yacht" with a 5,000 nautical-mile range and benefits from extensive refit and maintenance work carried out between 2016 and 2021.
Beowulf features classic exterior styling by De Vries Lentsch and refined interiors by Ken Freivokh. Stepping on board, the main saloon provides ample social space for informal entertaining in a space characterised by light wood interiors.
Beowulf can sleep up to eight guests across four en suite cabins, comprising a master suite with a private study and a VIP cabin on the main deck, as well as a double and a twin cabin below. Further accommodation sleeps a crew of six.
Through curved sliding doors, a social area is located on the main deck aft, where a dining table for eight is paired with a banquette sweeping the aft. This allows for all-weather dining thanks to its position under the overhang for protection from the elements.
A sky lounge above provides a second option for entertaining guests with an interior dining area and a sit-up bar. If entertaining in the sea breeze is preferred, the dining space flows out onto the aft deck, where an oval table is positioned to provide a good viewpoint of the surroundings when enjoying a meal.
Up top, the sundeck is designed for sundowners, dominated by a bar and banquette that benefit from panoramic views.
The yacht for sale is powered by twin 480hp Caterpillar engines; she cruises at 10 knots with a range of over 4,200 nautical miles.
Beowulf is asking $6,900,000.
