A new central agency has been announced for the 39.6-metre Westport yacht Blue Time, now listed for sale with Mark Elliot of IYC.
Built in glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), she was delivered by the US shipyard in 2009 as part of its 130 series. She underwent several extensive refits between 2021 and 2024, consisting of significant enhancements to her navigation, AV/IT and mechanical systems.
Her wood-panelled interiors were crafted in-house, while US-based designer Taylor Olson penned her classic exteriors and William Garden handled her naval architecture. Presented in turnkey condition, IYC said she "offers a compelling combination of proven performance, flexible guest accommodations and strong commercial potential".
Accommodation is for up to 11 guests across five cabins, with further space for six crew members. Her full-beam owner's suite is positioned forward on the main deck, while additional guest accommodation is found on the lower deck, consisting of four large cabins with three king suites and a twin cabin with a pullman.
On the main deck, the main saloon is an ideal conversation and social area. Here, guests can enjoy the iPad-controlled pop-up TV while relaxing on four accompanying chairs and a sofa. Forward of this is the dining area with seating for up to 10 guests, with storage cabinets to port and starboard.
Similarly, the skylounge offers guests further space for gathering, equipped with a full bar, games table, sofa and TV entertainment centre. Each outdoor zone is linked by wide walkaround decks, with protected al fresco dining and private seating on the foredeck a focus.
Up top, the sundeck features a dining table, Jacuzzi, plentiful sunpads and a wet bar with barbecue grill to port.
Blue Time is powered by two MTU 12V 400 M90 diesel engines, rebuilt in 2021 alongside her generators, giving the yacht for sale a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. She boasts a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots and is equipped with Naiad 525 zero-speed stabilisation for smooth sailing.
Lying between the private islands of Bird Cay and Chub Cay in the Bahamas, Blue Time is asking $15,900,000.
