Westship's 44.2-metre motor yacht Tanzanite has been sold, with Mark Elliott of IYC representing the seller and Jerry Todd of Alexander Marine introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP and delivered by the US yard in 2004, Tanzanite has been meticulously maintained since her delivery, with refits in 2019 and 2023. Her exterior design is by Westship's in-house team, while her interiors are from Innovative Creations Interior Design.
The broker noted that Tanzanite has "remarkable volume relative to her size". Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins, comprising a full-beam master suite on the main deck and four king-sized cabins, two of which are convertible to twins. All guest cabins have their own Jacuzzi baths, while there are further quarters for a crew of nine.
A beach club offers a "secluded retreat" while a large hot tub and four bars allow for social gatherings. Notably, Tanzanite's sundeck was extended by three metres during her 2019 refit, making for a sizeable entertaining area.
The 424GT motor yacht has a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 14 knots, under twin MTU diesel engines.
Tanzanite was last asking $8,900,000 with tax paid.
