Ping! And another price reduction hits my inbox as Steve Reoch at All Ocean Yachts sends news of a $550,000 price cut on the 39.6m motor yacht Phoenix, a joint listing with Kent Hill at Bollman Yachts.

Phoenix is an Expedition/Research/Sub-Tender/Adventure Yacht, ice sheathed with a range of halfway around the world. She had a thorough $10 million-plus conversion in 2004/2008 in Rockland, Maine and now has a new yacht interior and all systems refurbished or replaced.

A large crane and deck space allow for research and/or tender/subs/toy deployment and storage. Phoenix has had a successful charter record with over $1 million in revenues in 2010. She was hauled and painted in Spring 2011 and is lying in Norfolk, Virginia, now down from $3.5m to $2.95 million.
