Two new 43m Aegean Yacht models by Gian Paolo Nari now available for sale

Two new 43.4-metre motor yachts – available for construction at Turkish shipyard Aegean Yacht – have been listed for sale with Pierre Badin of Denison Yachting.

Known as Phobos and Deimos, the 43-metre new-builds are penned by Italian architect Gian Paolo Nari and the yachts, which will sit under 500GT once delivered, share a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. However, they will explore two distinct styles; Phobos is an explorer-style yacht with forward and aft "open-air garages" for tenders and toys, while Deimos is a glamorous navetta with an additional aft pool on the main deck.

Phobos and Deimos are each asking €22,900,000

Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests in six cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite spans over 37 square metres and includes a 12-square-metre private terrace with views to port and starboard. Four lower-deck guest cabins and an optional upper-deck cabin complete the layout. Crew quarters for seven include three double cabins forward, a captain’s cabin next to the wheelhouse, and ample storage and technical spaces.

Both feature more than 70 square metres of sundeck space, including a lounge, bar, Jacuzzi and al fresco dining. Interiors can be fully customised to an owner’s brief, benefitting from Nari’s experience across both new-build and refit projects. The designs mark the first models from a new collaboration between Nari and the Turkish yard, following the designer’s work with Italian yard Rossinavi on the 59.4-metre Akula.

"The initial concept was to envision a vessel with great autonomy and unmistakable lines. I focused on simplicity, linearity, and clean composition, blending horizontal and vertical lines to create a profile that defines the distinctive signature we were aiming for," said designer Gian Paolo Nari.

The yachts for sale will be powered by twin MAN D2862 LE466 engines, capable of 1,450 horsepower each, giving a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

A fuel capacity of 45,000 litres and fresh water capacity of 7,000 litres support a range of 3,700 nautical miles at 10 knots, making both vessels suitable for long-range cruising. Stabilisers and bow thrusters are included for comfort and manoeuvrability.

Phobos and Deimos are each asking €22,900,000.
