Aggressive €600,000 price cut to megayacht Melite by Ocean Independence

4 November 2009 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Hot on the heels of yesterday's news that superyacht Arethusa is being available to view during next week's Barcelona Boat Show, Bjorn Vang-Mathisen of Ocean Independence sends word that there's been a hefty price reduction on the 24m sailing megayacht Melite by an owner who wants her sold now.

Also available to view in Port Forum, Barcelona, she was delivered by Turkey's Nereids Yachts in 2007. Her modern interior, made to a high standard, sleeps eight guests in two doubles and two twins, and this megayacht sports a distinctive anthracite grey and white exterior. Previously asking €2 million, Melite is now being marketed at €1.4 million.
