The very pretty 25.5 metre sailing yacht Heidenskip, jointly listed for sale by Northrop & Johnson and De Valk, has been sold with both brokers introducing the buyer.
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Aluboot to a design by Van de Stadt, she was delivered in 2005 as a sloop-rigged yacht and has had the same owner ever since, along with a skipper who has kept her in immaculate condition. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins consisting of a master and two further doubles, all with en suite shower facilities.
Features of this yacht are twin rudders and a hydraulically operated lifting keel. The minimum draft of two metres enables her to navigate shallow waters and enter otherwise inaccessible ports. In addition, she has a comfortable cockpit with a dining table, bench seating on either side and a retractable Bimini top, ideal for dining under the stars in a secluded anchorage. Her hull recently received a full repaint and, under power, a 335hp MAN-Nanni diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 9.5 knots.
Her broker at De Valk, Henk Sijbranda, comments: 'The elegant sloop Heidenskip easily achieves twelve knots of cruising speed under sail, thanks in part to her carbon rig and new sails.'
Heidenskip was asking €990,000.
